We are in the dead of winter up north but we are turning the corner! The days are getting longer and there has been a few days where the temperature has gotten above the freezing level. It has been a fairly normal winter, plenty of snow, a few cold stretches the hit the -50 Celsius with the wind, but overall it has not been too bad. The sun always shines when it is cold :)
There is more snow accumulation in the north which should be great for water levels. Typically we get the bulk of our snow in February and March so winter is far from over yet. It’s looking like we should have some decent water levels in the spring. It is nice to start out with high water because it usually runs away as the summer goes on.

The Boys are loving winter as much as I do! Playing hockey and fishing, life can’t get much better than that when you are true Canadian Kid!
