Cobham Lake is one of the Most Remote Trophy Fishing lakes in Northwestern Ontario. This lake and river system is approximately 65 miles long. This means a tremendous amount of bays and creeks are available for trophy Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. We are the only outfitter on the lake and with two Outpost cabins located about 5 miles apart we can offer the best fishing in Northwestern Ontario. The unbelievable numbers of fish caught and released on the Cobham Lake makes it a true fisherman’s paradise. Walleye have ranged from 25 – 32″ with an average length of about 21″. Since everything over 18″ has to go back in the lake many of our fisherman joke about not being able to catch fish small enough to eat. The Northern fishing is remarkable on the Cobham. With the lake being quite deep and with so many numerous weedy bays a 40″ + Northern is quite common.
Our “Morley” outpost cabin is an 8-man camp. A well outfitted kitchen, roomy living/dining area and 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. This cabin features a screened in front deck as well as a large outdoor deck to enjoy the spectacular view of the boreal forest. Both cabins have 2 propane refrigerators, solar lighting, gas stove, hot and cold running water, indoor showers and toilets. We have a gas BBQ grill and fish cooker, which makes for convenient outdoor cooking. We have 14′ Lund boats and 9.9 hp Yamaha motors, including a spare. Each cabin has its own large fuel tank which will ensure that you have plenty of good, clean fuel for trouble free outboard operation. There is also a satellite phone at the camp for emergency use.
