Another week has flown by, the camps are full and we continue to move smiling faces to and from the bush!  It has been warm and cold here in Red Lake and rainier the further south you go.  The weather in the far north has been a drastic contrast to that!  Mostly sunny and HOT!  We have had some very windy days along with that which has helped out the fishing.  Walleyes are still in a wide range of depths from 3 feet to 15-20 feet. Mostly concentrated on the windy shorelines and narrows.  The Pike have been active with most of the big ones being caught near the walleyes, cause they like walleye too 🙂  Lots of pike action in the bays if you like to cast!

The McCarthy and his friends went back to Blackbirch Lake and had a great week!  Walleyes were abundant and so were the Big Pike!  Here are some pictures from their time on Blackbirch Lake.

The Lindberg party has been doing Flyin Fishing Trips for a very long time and have found a home with us.  This year they went to Vee Lake and it didn’t disappoint.  Tim, who has been doing flyins for 51 years said when I picked him up, “It was anywhere from great to spectacular.”  Here are a few pictures from their week on Vee Lake.

The walleyes at times were crazy, so crazy in fact that Rick had to catch them as they flew over the boat!!
