It will be September soon and the Mighty Moose will be once again in the rut! It is bitter sweet to end the season, but hunting season will not wait! Lets hope it cools off at the right time. We are down to one or 2 groups left to fish in each camp which is great because someone should be up here to enjoy the hot, sunny weather we have been having. The fish are down fairly deep 15 to 25 feet but may have come back shallower during this next hot stretch. All of our fishermen have depth finders with them and usually have no issues finding the depth that the fish are hanging out in that day.
Here are a few pictures from some of our recent guests.
Paul and Patricia make the journey from Boston each season to fish one of our lakes, this year it was Vee Lake. Every year they grow to enjoy their time in the North more and more. They are also gaining fishing experience on these northern lakes and it shows up in their quality of fish.
The McDaniel Party made their annual trip to the Cobham River. Another successful one! 2 trophy pike measuring 42 inches and 1 measuring at 40 inches in addition to many other quality fish. Here are a couple of the big ones!!!
