The Rasico family fished on Findlay last week. The last time Dad took his 3 kids on vacation all together was probably 35 years ago. No spouses, just the family. This was their first time flying in and had an unbelievable time! They will be back next year!!! I would expect more people to be tagging along though after hearing the stories and seeing the pictures of the fish they caught, the picturesque scenery and of course the best part of being in the bush… the silence. Here are some of the big fish they caught.
The Jones boys made the trip from Connecticut seeking Northern Pike. They found some nice ones Dark Water Lake but while fishing for Pike and unintentionally, they caught the fish of the trip, a 28 inch Walleye!!
The Pfeiffer/Kammes party fished on the Cobham last week and had a blast as usual. Tons of fish, lots of laughs and quality time. Here is one of the many nice ones they caught.
The Naegele family cherishes their time in the bush. This year they brought along some fresh meat. Mary. Mary had never experienced anything like this! She is used to the noise and sights of the city. She said she had a DIGITAL DETOX. Checking her phone periodically out of habit. Her Uncle Mike even made her start taking off her own fish! They caught a lot of fish but no huge ones this time due to the unsettled weather. Here are the girls having some fun catching walleye in the rain.
The Roy party have fished many of our lakes and given thousands of fish a sore lip and this year their lake of choice for their annual fishing adventure was Vee. They caught plenty of fish and had a great time. Here is one of the bigger Pike of their trip.
The Ogden party fished on the Cobham recently. They were first time flyin fishermen but sure seemed to take to it well. They caught fish pretty much at will and were getting the hang of catching bigger fish by the end of their trip. They were amazed as everyone by the scenery of the pristine north country. Here are some of the good pictures they shared with us.
