The Hanson family has been fishing with us for a long time.  It started out as just Dad, (Dick) and his 3 boys Mike, Eric, and Dan.  The family trip has grown to 7 in the past couple of years and it looks as though the younger generation loves it as much as Grandpa and his Original crew.  Andrew, Abbey and Thomas vow to keep their marks up in school and do whatever it takes to not miss the annual Canada Fishing Trip!  Black Birch Lake has been their playground for the past couple of years and they are getting to know this lake and it shows.  This year they caught some very nice fish, went swimming because it was so warm out and got to see some INTENSE NORTHERN LIGHTS!  Dan caught a 40 inch northern, his biggest ever and the fishing right off the dock was as good as anywhere else on the lake.  Needless to say that they are looking forward to next years trip!  Here are some pictures they shared with us.
