Generally I am a positive writer but sometimes things happen beyond our control and tough decisions must be made. Yesterday was one of those days. The Collins boys were ready for their 2nd trip to the Cobham River. They arrived at 6:30 am and we were off at 7. After turning north and seeing low clouds, rain and mist, we headed back to the base to wait. And wait we did. All day, the temperature dropped and we heard reports that it was snowing up north and moving our way. The Collins guys waited patiently, the weather has affected them before, last year they were stuck up north and extra day due to bad weather. It is rare that the same group gets delays like this 2 years in a row but they were happy to get there this morning. Soon after we arrived at The River the sun came out!!
In 2010 they each caught at least one northern over 40 inches. The forecast for the rest of the week is SUNSHINE so they should do it again!!
