The Seal/Hansen party were on Loree Lake last week for their annual trip to the north.  They have fished many of our lakes but have settled on Loree lake for awhile, loving the big, 4 bedroom cabin and the awesome fishing.  This year they encountered walleye fishing at its finest!  George, the most experienced veteran on the team has seen many days of great walleye fishing in May and at times last week it was as good as the best!  The Big Pike were plentiful this year with Dick taking the bragging rights with a 43 inch monster!  Chris caught 2-41 plus northern pike within an hour and was feeling pretty confident about his position when not long after, Dick landed this beauty.

"The device in the mouth of this northern is a Boga Grip. It is a fantastic tool that allows you to grasp your fish by its lower jaw and safely (for you and the fish) control it, remove your hook and release. If you buy a cheaper brand of grip, do not get it, unless the handle free spins. We’ve fished barbless for years and it has improved our fishing experience. We catch just as many fish as with barbs. It is much easier to release them unharmed. It is safer for you as invariably hooks get into your clothing or body." Dick H.

Very nice pike for a runner up, poor Chris. I bet he doesn't feel to bad, he caught 2 like this!
