Whether you are a grown adult fishing with your Dad who lives on the other side of the country or a father with a number of kids, spending time totally alone in the wilderness, fishing on your own private lake is time well spent.  Being totally out of reach from all the distractions of the world is where you can really connect.

If you are sick of running the rat race and can’t remember the last time you were not caught  in the web of the digital age, a trip to the bush is what you need.

And of course there are times when Grandpa gets to fish with his grandkids.  Out on the lake you are able to hand down knowledge and wisdom to the next generation when the only thing in their hand is a fishing rod, not a cell phone.   It feels great for us to see a new generation being exposed to the North.  There are not many places left in the world like it!

Eventually after showing your kids how to fish….  They will out fish you!
