The Tour de Canada team of 8 – the Clarks, Herringtons, Boltons,
Power, and Tanner, visited Cobham Lake. Tour enthusiast Dan Power
provided yellow jerseys to be worn by the trip leaders for big pike
and biggest walleye (as well as white and green jerseys for 1st fish
of the day and best angler under 25 yrs old). The shirts were emblazed
with such things as “my other bike is a pike”.

The group just killed it with the yellow jersey being passed along
almost daily, with Heath Herrington finishing with a 40 inch pike and
becoming the newest and youngest card holder of the 40 inch club. The
group also brought in a 38″, 34″, and numerous other pike over 30″.
The walleye category was won (again) by Brad Herrington with a
verified 28 incher (witnesses present) taking the jersey from Michael
Boldens 26″ which also edged out another 25″. It was our best walleye
year ever. Great fishery Amik !
