An outpost fishing vacation is what you make of it.

The Willows party had been faithful Jeanette fishermen for many years. They then began trying some of our other lakes. They did extremely well where ever they went. Our pristine trophy waters combined with their skill and experience, they catch many BIG walleyes. In 2011, they were scheduled to return back to their favorite, Jeanette Lake. Mother Nature and the fire situation at the time(2 weeks ago) had other plans. We were not able to take them to Jeanette, they had to switch lakes and went to Cherrington, the lake they fished in 2010. They knew their way around. Here they are heading back to the cabin,"because their arms were sore from catching so many big walleyes"

A good fishing partner is key. Here is Bruce and Rich netting another 20+ inch walleye.

Fred's turn to clean up supper, except that is morning sun at Cherrington Bay. Every morning they head out and catch 100 or more fish before 8 am!

Bruce with a 27.5 inch fattie!!

The fish of the trip. Reggie with a 28 inch walleye. Thanks for the pictures and the flexibility guys. See you in 2012!

We had a trip booked through the other outfitter serving Jeannette, but their cabin burned down. I hope you can get your guests out to Jeannette soon. I’ve fished there four different years and the fishing has always been tremendous. One year, three guys in our group (in one boat) caught 14 walleyes over 24 inches in one afternoon. Can’t wait to go back!
