March 2009 Newsletter - How many trophies will you catch at Amik Outposts in 2009?
Trophy Fishing will be at it's Finest in 2009
Spring is arriving and we are getting prepared for the 2009 season, and hopefully you are to. The days are getting longer, the snow is melting, the sun is gaining power each day intiating the spring thaw. Think of the hundreds of trophy fish caught in 2008 and most importantly "released" back into the water, having gotten even bigger over the long quiet winter. Not long from now the boreal forest, pristine lakes, rushing rivers and clear blue skies will be alive with activity as summer takes over from old man winter. Are you going to visit Amik Outposts in 2009?
With the economic world in turmoil there is one thing you can count on, a quality flyin fishing vacation with Amik Outposts. We have always strived to make your trip an experience to be cherished forever, 2009 proves to be no different. First Class customer service, experienced pilots, well maintained aircraft and equipment are all assets that accompany our awesome fishing and beautiful remote cabins to make your vacation one to be remembered.
Please remember that we are only a phone call or email away if you have any questions regarding details of your trip. A reminder also that we can arrange for your food and beverages to be ready and waiting to be flown in with you. As usual we always remind our guests to be mindful of the weight of their gear, which includes your beverages and groceries. A good formula to use is 60 pounds for personal/fishing gear and 40 pounds for food and beverage. 24 cans of beer or pop weighs 20 pounds. Remember we have a Honda generator at each lake for re-charging your batteries for depth finders, cameras etc. No need to pack the weight of multiple batteries if you can just bring the one set to re-use but don't forget the charger.
